Graduates of the BS program will be prepared to work in diverse healthcare settings, such as hospitals, specific clinical areas or departments within those facilities, health management organizations or in medical practice groups.</p> <p>Job Description and Responsibilities</p> <p>The Bachelor of Science in Health Services is seeking adjunct professors to teach a class/classes in the undergraduate program for Health Services. Are you seeking a dynamic academic position focused on teaching future health care leaders? If you are, take a look at a new opportunity in the College of Health Professions, Bachelor of Science in Health Services Program.</p> <p>We are seeking individuals who have experience teaching and/or background in the following content, including, but not limited to, interprofessional content areas in healthcare such as:</p> <ul> <li>Healthcare professions </li><li>Person-centered Care </li><li>Communications, interpersonal relationship skills </li><li>Leadership </li><li>Management </li><li>Economics and Finance </li><li>Research Methods </li><li>Human Growth and Development </li><li>Healthcare Technology and Innovation </li><li>Professional and Clinical Ethics </li></ul> <p>To learn more about the BSHS vision and our commitment to interprofessional education, please see our current course listings. The primary objective of this position is to provide education instructional support to the Bachelor of Science in Health Services program.</p> <p>Supports as an instructor in all aspects of this blended interdisciplinary program. Opportunities for instruction are face-to-face and online.</p> <p>Applicants will be considered on a rolling basis and based on program teaching needs.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Teach undergraduate courses in health services based on course needs. </li><li>Develop and organize course syllabi, assignments, exams, and course content as needed. </li><li>Provide engaging and effective instruction to undergraduate students in person or online, as required. </li><li>Assess and evaluate student performance through grading of assignments, exams, and projects. </li><li>Hold office hours to meet with students and provide academic support. </li><li>Participate in BSHS meetings and maintain communication with faculty and staff as necessary. </li><li>Stay current with developments in the discipline and incorporate them into course materials and teaching methods. </li><li>Follow university policies and procedures in teaching, grading, and conducting academic responsibilities. </li></ul>
