If so, apply today!</p> <p>Barrett Paving Materials is currently seeking an experienced CDL Class B Driver to join our Jamesville team. This position will involve driving to and from the Plants, Quarries and job sites in a safe and efficient manner.</p> <p>Compensation</p> <p>$25 - $27/hour</p> <p>Main Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Operate truck equipped with a live bottom body to transport dump loose material such as sand, gravel, crushed rock bituminous paving materials. </li><li>Conduct pre-trip/ post-trip inspection checklist on equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil and water. </li><li>Carry out detailed instructions but also must be able to use good judgement in decision making and be able to work without direct supervision. </li><li>Must be able to oil, grease and fuel truck. </li><li>Operate the vehicle safely in traffic situations and follow the policies and procedures of the company. </li></ul> <p>Requirements & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be able to climb onto and up and down a vehicle several times a day.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to sit in a vehicle and operate it for several hours without stopping.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to lift/ move up to 50 pound</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to all DOT and Barrett Paving Material safety regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Hold a valid NYS driver's license- CDL</p> </li><li> <p>Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.</p> </li><li> <p>OSHA 10 - (Construction)</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Health, vision and dental insurance </li><li>401K plan with company match </li><li>Paid parental leave </li><li>Employee assistance program </li><li>Various employee discounts </li></ul> <p>Colas Inc. and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
