In this pivotal role, you'll lead a skilled accounting team, ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting, and play a key part in shaping the financial future of our organization.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage the organization's accounting and tax compliance activities, including the preparation and submission of tax returns. </li><li>Prepare annual IFRS notes for the financial statements. </li><li>Liaise with external auditors for the annual statutory and tax audits. </li><li>Ensure internal accounting controls are effective and in line with Group policies and procedures. </li><li>Identify tax and accounting gaps and collaborate with external consultants to mitigate potential risks. </li><li>Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. </li><li>Lead and develop a team of 3+ accountants, providing guidance, motivation, and fostering a strong team spirit. </li><li>Support the FP&A and Operations teams by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reported figures. </li><li>Conduct monthly cost accounting and reconcile results with the trial balance. </li><li>Prepare accounting books to ensure a smooth transition to the new ERP system. </li></ul> <p>The ideal candidate</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. </li><li>A Master's degree is considered an asset. </li><li>Holder of an A' class signatory license. </li><li>Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in a relevant role. </li><li>Proven experience in managing teams is required. </li><li>Previous experience in FMCG, Retail, or Manufacturing sectors is considered an advantage. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of IFRS. </li><li>Strong expertise in accounting and taxation. </li><li>Experience in ERP transitions and change management. </li><li>Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems; knowledge of Navision is a plus. </li><li>Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken. </li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. </li><li>Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and commercial awareness. </li><li>Commitment to continuous improvement and development. </li></ul> <p>What we are offering</p> <p>You will get experience working in a global organization and a chance to collaborate a cross borders.
