<p>Position Overview:</p> <p>Order Fulfillment will be responsible for accurately completing tasks essential to the movement of product through our distribution center.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Pick and Pack product for outbound customer orders </li><li>Run packing station </li><li>Receiving and processing of inbound shipments from vendors and /or returned orders from customers </li><li>Inventory Control tasks such as cycle-counting, replenishment of on-hand inventory and participation in periodic physical inventories </li><li>Support the operational activity of other product lines or companies as necessary </li><li>Loading/Unloading of shipping containers, trailers, etc. as necessary </li><li>Minimal clerical duties may be required </li></ul> <p>RELATED DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Performs other duties, as assigned </li><li>Safe operation of forklift and hand trucks equipment; certification preferred </li><li>Occasional shipping </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Training and Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>1-2 years previous pick/pack/ship experience in a warehouse environment required; or equivalent combination of education and experience </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Abilities and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of basic PC skills and ability to type at a reasonable pace </li><li>Ability to work under pressure and time constraints </li><li>Ability to be a self-starter, follow-through and have a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing goals </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>The position requires the ability to stand, stoop, bend, and walk frequently during the shift, up to 8 hours; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves. Incumbent needs to consistently be able to lift up to 50 lbs.</p> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>Manufacturing plant environment, with some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, dust and atmospheric conditions.</p>
