<p>Software Architect</p> <p>100% Remote</p> <p>Direct Hire</p> <p>We are currently seeking a Software Architect to join our Application Development team. In this role, the Software Architect will design and oversee the development of high-performing, scalable software systems, focusing on database architecture, analytics, and data integration. This individual will provide technical oversight and support for SQL Server database development, data analytics, and integration technologies, ensuring alignment with the organization's technology infrastructure and business strategy.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Architecture Design: Define and document the architecture for software systems using Microsoft technologies, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. </li><li>Database Design and Development: Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including schema design, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and query optimization. </li><li>Data Analytics: Design and implement SQL Server-based analytics solutions, including the use of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and other BI tools to extract insights from data. </li><li>Data Integration: Implement and manage data integration workflows using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and other ETL tools. </li><li>Technology Leadership: Leverage Microsoft tools and frameworks (e.g., .NET) to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions. </li><li>Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. </li><li>Best Practices: Establish coding standards, architectural guidelines, and development workflows tailored to the Microsoft stack. </li><li>System Integration: Plan and oversee integration with third-party services, APIs, and legacy systems using Microsoft integration tools. </li><li>Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune application and database performance, ensuring responsiveness and reliability. </li><li>Security: Design secure architectures leveraging Microsoft security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years in a software architect or lead engineer role. </li><li>Broad knowledge of development platforms, languages, and technologies. </li><li>Proficiency in: </li><li>C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, and .NET 6+. </li><li>Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, App Services, Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, Service Bus). </li><li>SQL Server, including schema design, writing complex stored procedures, query optimization, and BI/analytics solutions using SSRS, SSAS. </li><li>SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ. </li><li>DevOps practices with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Octopus. </li><li>RESTful APIs, Web APIs, and microservices architecture in a Microsoft environment. </li></ul> <p>About Juno Search Partners:</p> <p>Juno is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to providing equal opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, genetic predisposition or carrier status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
