<p>South Harriman Baptist Church (SHBC) is seeking a Spirit-led, musically gifted Minister of Music & Worship to lead our congregation in meaningful, Christ-centered worship. This full-time position offers the opportunity to shape and grow a multi-generational music ministry in a supportive, team-oriented church environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and direct the praise team and choir for Sunday morning and evening services </li><li>Oversee and develop music ministry for all age groups, including children and youth </li><li>Plan and conduct seasonal choir specials and worship events </li><li>Collaborate with the pastor and staff to plan weekly worship services </li><li>Mentor musicians of all ages and cultivate a love for worship through music </li><li>Assist with audio/visual technology (experience preferred) </li></ul> <p>About Our Church SHBC is a friendly, welcoming Southern Baptist church with a heart for worship, discipleship, missions and community outreach. We are located in Harriman, TN, a small East Tennessee town known for its historic downtown, outdoor recreation, and tight-knit community. With a population of around 6,000, Harriman offers a low cost of living and is a great place to raise a family. We're just 30 minutes from Knoxville and 90 minutes of both Chattanooga and the Great Smoky Mountains.</p> <p>Salary is fair and reasonable and comparable to other SBC churches in the southern US.</p>
