<p>Finance is hiring a full-time Junior Accountant to join their team!</p> <p>This is a 40 hour work week. 8:00am - 4:00pm (flexible)</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Review contracts and process them through contract management process/software. </li><li>Post cash transactions daily. </li><li>Enter Accounts Payable Invoices. </li><li>Approve Accounts Payable Invoices. </li><li>Review Check Runs. </li><li>Maintain facility allocation spreadsheets. </li><li>Participate in the month-end/year-end close process. </li><li>Preparation of journal entries. </li><li>Preparation of monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliations. </li><li>Process monthly invoices for contract billing. </li><li>Run monthly and yearly reports. </li><li>Process check deposits. </li></ul> <p>Additional Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Provide backup to other finance functions. </li><li>Prepare requested audit reports. </li><li>Other projects/duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Strong accounting and analytical skills. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills to establish/maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all staff internally and externally with vendors and customers. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of accounting systems.
