CCD values the ability to work effectively with students, families, faculty, instructors and staff of diverse backgrounds.</p> <p>GENERAL SUMMARY</p> <p>The successful Adjunct Instructor for Theatre must possess the academic and practical expertise to guide student learning and success, and to serve as a mentor and model for students. The applicant should demonstrate strong instructional skills and the ability to engage a diverse student body using traditional, nontraditional, and innovative methods of instruction and effectively structure classes and curriculum to support program and course outcomes.</p> <p>The Adjunct Instructor for Theatre is primarily responsible for teaching THE 2011: Development of Theatre I Greek - Renaissance in the fall and THE 2012: Development of Theatre II Restoration - Modern in the spring, although additional assignments may be available, based on the applicant's areas of expertise. Production mentorship and possible inclusion in the production scene possible. While the instructor is free to choose supplementary materials, the curriculum, projects for department-level assessments, syllabus and textbook are provided for the courses.
