<p>POSITION: Adjunct Professor- Physical Therapist Assistant</p> <p>STATUS: Part-Time/Adjunct</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Physical Therapist Assistant Program Director</p> <p>LOCATION: Wauwatosa, WI</p> <p>Unlock your full potential in the innovative and inclusive environment at Bryant & Stratton College. Founded in 1854, Bryant & Stratton College offers real-world education leading to bachelor's, associate's, and professional certificates after completion in the fields of healthcare, technology, legal, business, graphic design, and more.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Teach 2-5 contact hours lecture and/or lab courses in one or more areas depending on transcript review: orthopedics, physical therapy interventions, introduction to physical therapy, practice management, professional issues, and/or neurological system disorders. </li><li>Provide scheduled/regular skills assistance and tutoring </li><li>Attend mandatory course and faculty meetings </li><li>Collaborate with PTA faculty in developing and evaluating course curriculum, learning support, and assessments </li><li>Implement and evaluate strategies for improved student retention and success </li><li>Availability for daytime weekday course instruction from September 2025-December 2025. </li><li>Other related duties as required </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Physical Therapy, or AAS - PTA plus Master's degree in education and current Wisconsin PT or PTA license. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in field. </li><li>Working knowledge of computer software (e-mail, Microsoft Word, etc). </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to professional development and student success. </li><li>Strong team player. </li><li>Ability to make meaningful and positive connections with diverse student body in a career college environment. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Successful teaching in higher education setting. </li><li>Experience with course development. </li></ul> <p>Experience with Blackboard Learning Management system.</p> <p>TO APPLY:</p> <p>Upload resume and unofficial transcripts during electronic application process.</p> <p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, ethnicity, national origin, color, religion, disability, marital status, veteran status, sex/gender (including pregnancy or pregnancy related conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity (including transgender status) or any other legally protected characteristics ("protected characteristics").
