<p>This role is part of a 24/7 manufacturing environment with variable shifts as scheduled.</p> <p>Pay Range: $18 per hour - Currently offering a $1,500.00 Sign On Bonus</p> <p>Core Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Contribute to accident-free operations and comply with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist the extrusion operator in producing quality products based on product specifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and perform quality checks to ensure product color, surface, size, and other attributes meet standards before packaging.</p> </li><li> <p>Properly place pallets and perform packaging techniques for finished materials as directed.</p> </li><li> <p>Move materials to designated areas as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist extrusion operators with machine cleaning functions (saws, tanks, etc.) when necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to production assistants, assistant operators, operators, and team leaders.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all plant safety procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.</p> </li><li> <p>Understand and follow all company policies, practices, and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete detailed production operator reports and other quality/production paperwork as necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete and attach labels according to product specifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform housekeeping duties in the production area.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic computer skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, including whole numbers and fractions).</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read gauges and similar measuring devices.</p> </li><li> <p>Must know how to read a ruler.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <p>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.</p> <ul> <li>Interview tip: Must know how to read a ruler* </li></ul> <p>The AZEK Company is strictly following all CDC guidelines on workplace disinfecting and sanitation, as well as state-mandated PPE practices.
