<p>The Quantum Technology Laboratory, led by Prof. Pankaj K. Jha in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University in New York, is seeking an experimental Postdoctoral Researcher. The position will involve working on various projects that span quantum optics, nanophotonics, atomic and molecular spectroscopy, and metamaterials. Exceptional candidates from other fields are also welcome to apply.</p> <p>Job Specific Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Research experience in one of the following areas: </li></ul> <p>(i) Atomic and molecular spectroscopy, or color centers in wide-bandgap materials such as boron nitride, diamond, and silicon carbide.</p> <p>(ii) Design and fabrication of metasurface-based optical devices.</p> <ul> <li>Highly motivated to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of graduate and undergraduate students, as well as internal (SU) and external academic and industry partners. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The Postdoctoral Researcher will carry out basic and applied research to support sponsored projects and prepare research papers for publication.
