Also, please include a statement verifying that you are able to attend the entirety of the program.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Michigan-Dearborn invites applications for college instructors and college assistants for the 2026 Super Saturdays at UM-Dearborn program. The prerequisite for this position is that the applicant is either currently in college as of 3/1/2026, and has participated in Math Corps at UM-Dearborn. The applicant must have high grades (on supplied school transcript) in mathematics courses.</p> <p>Students will be required to mentor a team of ten middle school students and five high school students. This involves monitoring the students throughout the day, grading assignments and recording grades, and supervising students at afternoon activities.</p> <p>Responsibilities*</p> <p>College instructors and assistants will be directly responsible for mentoring a team of middle school and high school kids. The key responsibilities of this position are:</p> <ul> <li>Developing a strong mathematical relationship with their team. </li><li>Monitor students throughout the day. </li></ul> <p>Modes of Work</p> <p>Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
