Ready to bring your best?</p> <p>This role can be based in any of our US plants.</p> <p>The Regional Sanitation Manager is responsible for supporting multiple Sanitation Supervisor's/Manager's across several plants. The role directly supports the Sanitation efforts and projects at each of the assigned plants to achieve the sanitation and safety goals of those facilities. In addition, the individual is a key thought leader and contributor to the operational efforts of the sanitation departments, driving best in class processes, tools, and harmonization across the assigned plants. This position is accountable internally for the oversight of the sanitation department at each plant and adherence to quality standards, chemical safety standards, pest control standards, and all processes and initiatives within the sanitation department.</p> <p>How you will make contributions that matter...</p> <ul> <li>Oversee sanitation operations at all assigned plants and determine the need for improvements in overall performance </li><li>Lead initiatives to establish sanitation/pest control standards across all assigned plants </li><li>Maintain strong relationships with chemical vendors and suppliers </li><li>Drive and develop new sanitation training initiatives and Sanitation Standard Operational Procedures (SSOP) according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FDA and OSHA regulations and standards </li><li>Responsible for overall adherence to safety programs and policies to reduce overall employee incidents </li><li>Support plant objectives by reporting to the Director-Sanitation on important records and reports pertaining to sanitation and safety at assigned plants </li><li>Ensure overall optimization of chemical usage by overseeing reporting and inventory performed by the Chemical Vendor and the Sanitation Supervisor/Manager on usage </li><li>Responsible for corrective actions when employees are noncompliant to GMPs, safety, cleanliness, sanitation, and pest control </li><li>Facilitate the development and leadership of Sanitation Supervisor/Manager at each assigned location </li><li>Drives thought leadership & process across sanitation and safety operational organization and is a role model for operational effectiveness </li><li>Work with the plant on a yearly Sanitation Review and report to Plant Manager and Director-Sanitation on findings </li></ul> <p>You are best suited for the role if you have the following experience, skills, and qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree preferred in Dairy Technology, Business Administration or Operations Management or related field, or equivalent work experience </li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of related sanitation experience within Dairy, Food, and/or Beverage industry </li><li>Proven ability to lead, influence and inspire people and promote quality, safety, and teamwork </li><li>Strong computer skills including Microsoft office and SAP preferred. </li><li>Organization, mechanical aptitude, problem solving, decision and technical skills and experience with CIP systems. </li><li>Adhering to established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, including rinsing, washing, and sanitizing equipment. </li><li>Ability to evaluate sanitation processes including CIP, COP, and Sanitation Chemistry Attributes, determining the most efficient method of accomplishing each task and goal. </li><li>Must be able to perform maintenance tasks on equipment such as inspecting gaskets, seals, and other components as needed. </li><li>Effective communication and analytical skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization </li><li>Travel required up to 50% </li></ul> <p>We support and care for our employees by providing them with…</p> <ul> <li>Development opportunities that enhance their career fulfillment </li><li>Meaningful compensation & benefits that help them care for their families. </li><li>Opportunities to contribute to your community and enhance the lives of others through Saputo products. </li></ul> <p>salary range: $104,730 - $137,455</p> <p>salary offers vary commensurate with skills, experience, education, and training.</p> <p>In the USA, Saputo ranks among the top three cheese producers and is one of the top producers of extended shelf-life and cultured dairy products, with a portfolio of well-loved brands such as Stella, Frigo Cheese, Montchevre, Stella, and Treasure Cave.
