<p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Senior Patient Access and Engagement Specialist provides strategic oversight for patient access and engagement initiatives across BHMG Primary Care practices. The position leads primary care practices with programs to optimize patient retention, drive growth, and ensure continuity of care during provider transitions. The specialist serves as a subject matter expert, advising leadership on best practices and leveraging advanced analytics to inform organizational strategy.</p> <p>PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Brown University Health employees are expected to successfully role model the organization's values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence as these guide our everyday actions with patients, customers and one another.</p> <ul> <li>Lead and execute patient communication strategies to reassure continuity of care during PCP transitions. </li><li>Conduct targeted outreach campaigns to attract new patients and optimize access channels. </li><li>Coordinate onboarding processes for new patients, ensuring alignment with operations and marketing teams. </li><li>Manage all communications related to practice changes, provider transitions, and quality initiatives to maintain patient trust. </li><li>Oversee bulk communications in Epic for Quality and Risk Management programs. </li><li>Create patient-facing materials supporting access and clinical quality initiatives. </li><li>Promote specialized services such as MSK, Care365, and Integrated Behavioral Health. </li><li>Monitor patient experience survey results and collaborate on improvement plans. </li><li>Coordinate the Patient and Family Advisory Committee (PFAC) and liaise with HEART trainers to enhance patient experience. </li><li>Support data analysis to monitor patient access and attrition trends. </li><li>Collaborate on initiatives to retain patients and reduce attrition. </li><li>Track and report key metrics, including retention rates, new patient growth, and appointment conversion rates, to measure impact of initiatives. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in patient access, healthcare operations, or related leadership roles. </li><li>Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, project management, and data analytics. </li><li>Experience managing cross-functional teams and enterprise-level initiatives. </li><li>Advanced proficiency in Epic or similar EHR systems and CRM platforms. </li><li>Superior communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach. </li><li>Strong leadership and change management capabilities. </li><li>Expertise in patient engagement strategies and healthcare market dynamics. </li><li>Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights. </li><li>Ability to craft clear, reassuring messages for diverse patient populations. </li><li>Works effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. </li><li>Uses metrics to guide strategies for retention and growth. </li><li>Responds quickly to changes in provider availability and practice operations. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range:</p> <p>$69,732.94-$115,039.29</p> <p>EEO Statement:</p> <p>Brown University Health is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and maintaining a work environment free from all forms of unlawful discrimination and harassment.</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>CM-Providence-Coastal Medical Corporate Office-10 Davol Squa - 10 Davol Square Providence, Rhode Island 02903</p> <p>Work Type:</p> <p>M-F 8AM-5P</p> <p>Work Shift:</p> <p>Day</p> <p>Daily Hours:</p> <p>8 hours</p> <p>Driving Required:</p> <p>No</p>
