<p>Position Summary: Responsible for the coordination and implementation of marketing initiatives using the available database of customers, or potential customers, to promote the property through addressable and interactive media including: Direct mail, email, and mobile app</p> <p>Job Title: Coordinator Database</p> <p>Department: Marketing</p> <p>Reports To: Supervisor Database</p> <p>FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt</p> <p>License Type: Gaming</p> <p>Hourly Rate: $23.35/hr</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the building and execution process of all marketing campaigns via direct mail, email, casino marketing systems, marketing kiosk and other digital platforms as assigned. </li><li>Responsible for utilizing casino management systems to create new and innovative database marketing campaigns and programs by staying current on new system features. </li><li>Performs various data entry tasks including prize code entry, tag code entry, database hygiene, address corrections, return mail processing, etc. </li><li>Coordinates and executes direct mail, email, and mobile app initiatives </li><li>Handles guest service issues regarding database marketing offers </li><li>Routes and/or files database marketing documents including creative samples, financial documents, analytical reports, proposals, approvals, etc. </li><li>Assists with coordinating the production of database marketing campaigns by interfacing with relevant departments </li><li>Assists with the submission of production requests and deadline schedules to the Advertising Department to help insure creative production is accomplished on a timely basis </li><li>Assists with the coordination of analytics requests and direct marketing requests from other departments </li><li>Assists with basic reporting out of the player tracking database </li><li>Coordinates the proofing process of all marketing campaigns and promotions. </li><li>Assists with test and control methodologies. </li><li>Maintains database productions schedule, email calendar, Campaign notices and other tracking sheets to ensure timelines are met. </li><li>Assists Marketing Analyst Database in analyzing effectiveness of programs and promotions by utilizing data mining, proformas and any other effective methodology. </li><li>Executes basic data queries using SQL </li><li>Performs any other reasonable request made by management to support the marketing department </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>College degree or other work or educational equivalent required </li><li>1-3 years of relevant experience working in data analytics, data mining, database marketing or a comparable marketing capacity </li><li>Proficient in data mining tools and casino management systems </li><li>Outstanding organization skills are a must, as is the ability to actively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously </li><li>Must thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment </li><li>Strong desire to take accountability and have their performance measured on contribution to business results </li><li>Create and seize opportunities to win, even when faced with ambiguity </li><li>Ability to remain professional in stressful situations and the ability to thrive in high pressure, fast-paced environment </li><li>Analytical prowess which includes critical thinking skills that get to the root of the problem </li><li>Problem resolution, be decisive and timely, act on information and adapt with changes </li><li>Self-assurance, resilient and tenacious </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality </li><li>Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process </li><li>Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays </li><li>Assists in development of general marketing plans, operating reviews, and consolidation of departmental marketing plans </li><li>Oversees property signage planning, development, and execution </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing </li><li></li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Work is performed both in an office and on the casino floor in a smoke-free environment </li><li>Hours of work will vary based on the monthly marketing calendar and average at least 40 hours per week </li><li>Holiday and weekend work schedules will vary </li><li>Team members may be required to move and lift boxes and items up to 25lbs </li></ul>
