<p>Thank you for considering a career at Roper St. Francis Healthcare!</p> <p>Scheduled Weekly Hours:</p> <p>0.01</p> <p>Work Shift:</p> <p>Days (United States of America)</p> <p>Location: Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital - Charleston, SC</p> <p>Shift: As needed 8:00am-5:00pm</p> <p>Primary Function/General Purpose of Position</p> <p>The Rehabilitation Technician assists therapists, therapy assistants and/or athletic trainers as assigned. Primary duties include routine cleaning, quality control checks, room set-up, inventory ordering, preparing patients and equipment for treatment, assistance with patient care, and related documentation.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Communicates with patients, visitors and all other customers in accordance with organization guidelines. Communicates with therapists and/or therapy assistants, as well as other team members, regarding patient care. </li><li>Performs routine functions in patient care databases and systems, including electronic medical records. </li><li>May assist therapists, assistants and/or athletic trainers with patient care as needed. </li><li>Maintains adequate department supplies within budget as directed by leadership. </li><li>Performs cleaning and quality control checks, temperatures checks, whirlpool cultures, and other items as delegated by leadership. </li><li>Completes record keeping and other tasks assigned by leadership. Assists with transportation of patients according to therapist's instructions, as needed, using proper technique and equipment. </li><li>Demonstrates initiative/collaborates with process improvement teams. Positively represents department and profession to others. Attends and participates in scheduled meetings and in services. </li><li>May assist with front office operations, including answering calls, patient scheduling, and copay collection. </li><li>May support planning and execution of events in the community. </li></ul> <p>This document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
