In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of electrical equipment and infrastructure across one of the world's most iconic open-pit mining operations.</p> <p>Reporting to the Supervisor - Electrical Maintenance working 4 on 4 off continuous roster, your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Performing troubleshooting and maintenance on electrical systems from 12V DC to 13.8kV AC, including switchgear, transformers, and distribution panels. </li><li>Diagnosing and repairing AC and DC motors, including motor control circuits and starters. </li><li>Maintaining and troubleshooting variable frequency drives (VFDs) and soft starters. </li><li>Installing, calibrating, and troubleshooting instrumentation devices such as proximity sensors, level sensors, RTDs (Resistance Temperature Detectors), and pressure sensors. </li><li>Inspecting, testing, and repairing electrical cables, terminations, and connections. </li><li>Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. </li><li>Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and site-specific policies. </li><li>Collaborating with engineering and operations teams to support system upgrades and commissioning. </li><li>Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to a high-performance maintenance team. </li></ul> <p>Eligibility Notice</p> <p>Applicants must be currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
