<p>Job Description:</p> <p>SPEECH AND LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST ASSISTANT</p> <p>DOOLITTLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL</p> <p>8:30AM - 3:00PM</p> <p>30 HOURS/WEEK</p> <p>Description :</p> <p>SLPA provides direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Delivering individual and group therapy sessions focused on articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication. </li><li>Maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and accurate data of student performance. </li><li>Working closely with SLPs, teachers, and other school personnel to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support student progress. </li><li>Assisting in the development of therapy materials and providing support to classroom staff on communication strategies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Successful completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Certificate program. </li><li>Experience working with children preferred </li></ul> <p>Salary:</p> <p>The pay for this position is $30 per hour.</p> <p>To Apply:</p> <p>Please apply online at www.applitrack.com/cheshire/onlineapp. Please include all materials (cover letter, resume, three letters of recommendation, certification, transcripts and praxis scores) that are required for the application process.
