<p>Ocean Beauty Seafoods is looking for a Delivery Driver to deliver seafood in Portland, OR!</p> <p>The Delivery Driver plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations, while interacting with customers and sales representatives daily to meet the expectations of the business. They are responsible for delivering, unloading, and checking in the product to customers each day. Our drivers are the face of the Company and must provide top-notch customer service. This is a full-time position working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, starting at 3pm. Pay starting at $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Load, unload, stack, and secure freight prevent personnel injury, damage or shifting while maximizing space </li><li>Verify and cross check all product (fresh & frozen) on assigned routes matching the coinciding paperwork </li><li>Verify and cross check all outgoing product (fresh and frozen) in on the correct truck/route </li><li>Communicate with supervisor on shortages, inaccuracies, and coordinate to get corrected and placed on truck prior to departure </li><li>Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle using the "vehicle inspection report book" </li><li>Comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Regulations, local speed and traffic laws and Company policies </li><li>Report any customer's suggestions, concerns or complaints to supervisor </li><li>Clean interior cargo area of tuck to meet OSHA guidelines for the storage and transport of seafood </li><li>Solicit customers for additional orders to increase company sales while delivering product </li><li>Collect cash from COD customers; responsible for cash at all times </li><li>Turn in invoices, delivery receipts, money, and inspection report daily </li><li>Potential to help in additional departments if needed </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>You must be 21 yrs. of age </li><li>Ability to lift to 75 lbs. </li><li>A CDL not required. </li><li>DOT Medical Certificate </li><li>Clean Motor Vehicle Report - bring a copy of your 3 year MVR to the interview </li><li>Excellent customer service </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS:</p> <ul> <li>Medical/dental/vision/life insurance </li><li>Wellness Program </li><li>401(k) with company match </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>Paid time off (PTO) </li><li>Discount on Seafood! </li><li>Local routes - go home at night </li><li>We supply uniforms </li><li>Safety Bonuses! </li></ul> <p>Drug and background checks required.</p> <p>We take pride in a safe work environment.
