<p>Essex North Shore is seeking a Computer Programming and Web Development Teacher to join our staff for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a Chapter 74 program.</p> <p>Satisfactory CORI, SORI, DCF Registry, and SAFIS required.</p> <p>Bilingual preferred.</p> <p>General OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred, but required within three years of employment.</p> <p>OSHA Train-the-Trainer certification preferred, but required within five years of employment.</p> <p>As an employee of Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School District, you are offered a number of robust benefits that support you, your family, and your professional growth. Coverage options are through the Group Insurance Commission. </li><li>Comprehensive dental insurance through Delta Dental of Massachusetts, currently covering over 90% of dentists throughout Massachusetts. </li><li>Professional development opportunities, including tuition reimbursement and free, paid training. </li><li>Supplemental income earning opportunities, such as athletics programming, integration academies, and club advisor positions. </li><li>Affordable term life insurance through the Group Insurance Commission providing your family or loved one(s) with financial security in the event of an unforeseen passing. </li><li>Employee Assistance Programming for behavioral, health, financial planning, and legal resources. </li><li>Wellness programming including spin, yoga, and other classes that are tailored to your busy schedule and health goals. </li><li>And so much more! </li></ul> <p>CAREER TECHNICAL & AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION TEACHER</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS: Appropriate Licensure by DESE in Career Area</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Coordinator of Career Technical & Agricultural Education</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Map each grade curriculum to the State Frameworks. </li><li>Provide instruction in the content in accordance with the Massachusetts Vocational-Technical Frameworks in the specified career area. </li><li>Enforce all OSHA safety regulations within the career education setting. </li><li>Instruct students in the field when participating in outside projects. </li><li>Document student performance, student behavior, and student achievement within the career education setting. </li><li>Provides review and reinforcement of new concepts; supports students in the completion of their assigned tasks. </li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of students' IEPs, as well as the accommodations and modifications necessary for student success; modify assignments, tests, and quizzes in collaboration with special educators, if required. </li><li>Develop resources for students to be successful, such as models, graphic organizers, and copies of class notes, video clips, demonstrations, etc. </li><li>Participate as a member of the career area department; collaborate with teachers within the department. </li><li>Collaborate with teachers in academic disciplines to facilitate learning activities that are cross-curricular and project-based. </li><li>Collaborate with the Cooperative Education Coordinator to place students in their career area. </li><li>Maintain documentation, including student performance, behavior, progress data, notation of student absences/tardies, and conversations with parents and administrators. </li><li>Provide content support outside of the general education classroom, as necessary. </li><li>Integrate technology into the curriculum. </li><li>Respond to any correspondence, both oral and written, that comes from a parent or guardian. </li><li>Participate in conferences and meetings when appropriate; contribute observations and ideas. </li><li>Attend Advisory Board meetings twice per year; attend Open House. </li><li>Keep current with changes in your career area; collaborate with Advisory Board members. </li><li>Accept additional responsibilities as may be required under the direction of the Coordinator of Career Technical & Agricultural Education. </li></ul>
