<p>Job Title Administrative Aide, Continuing Education (Federal Work Study) Job Description</p> <p>This position will be located at the Tyson Family Center for Technology in Monroe, working under the direction of the Corporate Education Specialist. Assist in the day-to-day administrative tasks of the Corporate Education Department within the division of Business & Workforce Solutions.</p> <p>Essential Duties Summary</p> <ul> <li>Greet guests </li><li>Answer phones </li><li>Filing, copying, printing, light word processing, and distribute mail </li><li>Organize training materials </li><li>Other light administrative duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Professional attitude and communication skills </li><li>Organized </li><li>Ability to work with the general public </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ol> <li> <p>Ideally pursuing a degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent Communication Skills: Proficiency in both written and verbal communication, as the role involves coordinating with various departments and assisting in creating training materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with common office software (like Microsoft Office Suite) and an ability to learn new technologies (such as Salesforce)</p> </li><li> <p>Teamwork and Collaboration: Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment and under the guidance of senior staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Interest in Corporate Education: A genuine interest in learning and development, particularly in a corporate setting.</p> </li></ol> <p>Physical Demands Special Conditions Eligibility Summary Eeo Statement Summary</p> <p>South Piedmont Community College provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees based on job related criteria without reference to race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, disability, genetic information, or any other legally protected classification.
