Find your future with us.</p> <p>The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Software Application Tester to join the team in Seattle, WA; Renton; WA; Tukwila, WA; Berkeley, MO; or Hazelwood, MO.</p> <p>The Software Application Tester will lead testing activities for mission-critical software and systems while defining test strategy. You will plan and execute test programs, manage a team of testers and Quality Assurance (QA) engineers, and ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance with standards.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and maintain the overall test strategy, test plans, and test schedules</p> </li><li> <p>Lead, mentor, and grow a team of test engineers and QA specialists</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate test activities across engineering, product, systems, and integration teams</p> </li><li> <p>Define test environments, tooling, automation strategy, and metrics for quality</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee test execution: functional, integration, system, performance, regression, and acceptance testing</p> </li><li> <p>Manage defective lifecycle and ensure timely resolution and risk mitigation</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate test status, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders and leadership</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with relevant processes, industry standards, and certification requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Support release planning and readiness reviews</p> </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>5+ years of experience in test management, quality assurance leadership, and/or equivalent roles</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in test planning, execution, and test process improvement</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with test automation frameworks, tools, and Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) integration</p> </li><li> <p>Experience leading cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with bug/issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail)</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience in aerospace, defense, or other safety-critical industries</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with systems integration, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, or embedded systems testing</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with regulatory and certification processes relevant to the domain</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced degree (MS) or relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced/Expert, PMP)</p> </li></ul> <p>Drug Free Workplace:</p> <p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Pay & Benefits:</p> <p>At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
