As an integral leader within our transportation team, you'll manage and deliver complex, high-profile roadway and highway projects that are essential to the region's growth. With us, you'll be supported, challenged, and given every opportunity to discover what's possible next.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Lead large and complex roadway and highway projects in support of multimodal improvements from concept development through detailed design and construction support. </li><li>Manage multidisciplinary project teams and ensure successful delivery aligned with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. </li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with state and local transportation agencies (e.g., Caltrans, regional planning organizations, city/county partners). </li><li>Support business development activities, including client engagement, proposal strategy, pursuit leadership, and market growth initiatives. </li><li>Mentor project managers and engineers, promoting a collaborative and high-performance team culture. </li></ul> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. </li><li>Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in California, or the ability to obtain one within one year. </li><li>20+ years of roadway design experience with a minimum of 10 years of project management experience delivering large, complex roadway, interchange, or multimodal improvement projects. </li><li>Proven success managing projects for public transportation agencies, such as Caltrans or local municipalities. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership experience guiding project teams and influencing technical and strategic outcomes. </li><li>10+ years of experience in business development, including client relationship management and growth strategy execution. </li><li>Well-established professional network in the Oakland area transportation market. </li></ul> <p>#LI-NW2</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>144,600.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>253,100.00</p> <p>Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
