<p>Make a lasting impact on the future of the next generation at Lincoln Tech as a full-time Career Services Advisor. Help students take their first step toward a rewarding career after graduation. This role will collaborate closely with our current HVAC Advisor and Welding Advisor managing 50% of Welding placements and 50% of HVAC placements. You will work as part of our highly collaborative 7-person team.</p> <p>Responsibilities of a Career Services Advisor</p> <ul> <li>Maintain an active lead database to ensure sufficient job opportunities for students and graduates </li><li>Develop relationships with potential employers and/or internship sites </li><li>Coordinate and schedule employer interviews with students and graduates </li><li>Make follow-up calls regarding interview outcomes and employment confirmation </li><li>Maintain consistent contact with graduates until employment is successfully secured within their field of study </li><li>Guide students through their entire career journey - from interview skills and business etiquette to resume development and job placement. </li></ul> <p>Requirements of a Career Services Advisor</p> <ul> <li>Relationship Building Excellence: Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with both students and industry employers, serving as a trusted bridge between education and workforce needs </li><li>Student Development Focus: Passion for coaching and mentoring students through career preparation, including interview skills, professional development, and job search strategies </li><li>Industry Adaptability: Quick learner who can rapidly understand technical program requirements and industry-specific employer needs in welding and HVAC sectors </li><li>Collaborative Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills to work seamlessly within our tight-knit, highly collaborative placement team while managing shared program responsibilities </li><li>Experience in job placement, recruiting, or talent acquisition with demonstrated success in connecting candidates with employers and achieving placement metrics </li><li>Familiarity with online job searches and tools </li><li>Able to work at least one night per week </li><li>Associate degree or related work experience </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel </li><li>Experience using social media platforms </li><li>Experience with CampusVue - a plus </li></ul> <p>Full-Time Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision </li><li>Life and Disability Insurance </li><li>401(k) with Company Match </li><li>Paid Time Off and Holidays </li><li>Growth Opportunities </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>For over 75 years Lincoln Tech has been one of the nation's leading providers of career training in Healthcare, Automotive/Diesel, Skilled Trades, Information Technology, Cosmetology, and Culinary Arts.</p> <p>Lincoln Tech is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p> <ul> <li>Email: careers@lincolntech.edu </li><li>Website: www.lincolntech.edu/careers </li></ul> <p>15-19608 - Career Services Advisor-13005</p>
