<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Directly supervises teammates in the Production Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training teammates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining teammates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Manage staffing roles and assignments in area </li><li>Support and manage teammate safety </li><li>Leads and manages company policies, and regulations in his/her department </li><li>Leads the MPS development and Business Case improvement in his/her area </li><li>Lead, direct and coach projects and improvement themes </li><li>Supports team leaders and supports restoring production as required </li><li>Leads the motivation, morale and growth development of his/her team leaders and teammates </li><li>Manage time and attendance records </li><li>Coordinates activities with other department supervisors to maintain alignment </li><li>Evaluate and coordinate training for teammates </li><li>Coach and develop team leaders </li><li>Develop, support and manage to standards </li><li>Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations </li><li>Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding production schedules </li><li>Facilitate problem solving and MPS processes to improve production </li></ul> <p>SECONDARY DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Provide technical support to the area </li><li>Leads by example with good attendance, and high personal and business integrity </li><li>Lead safety/emergency situations </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Associate or Bachelor Degree or 3- 5 years related experience or a combinations of at least one of these: Team Leader, MPS Office, or relevant experience. </li></ul> <p>COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Intermediate ERP Software skills </li><li>A high level of business acumen and comfort working in a cross-functional environment </li><li>Excellent communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills with ability to influence </li><li>Process oriented, proactive and customer-focused </li><li>Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills required </li><li>Understanding of MPS principles and practices </li><li>Ability to problem solve to the root cause and implement countermeasures </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Directly supervise the day to day work of 10-45 teammates </li><li>Ensure compliance with legal and Midmark policies </li><li>Interviewing, hiring, termination, training planning, assigning and directing work </li><li>Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, counseling or discipline as needed </li><li>Address complaints and resolve problems and conflicts </li></ul>
