Wainwright, Alaska</p> <p>Tracking Code</p> <p>TAP 5093-585</p> <p>Position Type</p> <p>Full-Time/Regular</p> <p>CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for a Transition Assistance Program Site Lead to support our client at Fort Wainwright, AK.</p> <p>Conduct transition activities in support of the VA. Transition support includes conducting standardized VA Benefits and Services Briefings, one-on-one engagements, pre-separation counseling support, military life cycle (MLC) events, Capstone events, and warm-handover support.</p> <p>Executes staffing, event management and logistics activities at assigned installation; ensures integrated and proactive communications, quality management and risk management practices. Responsibilities may include:</p> <ul> <li>Operational deployment activities for staff at assigned installation </li><li>Executing non-event Activities at assigned installation </li><li>Travel management activities for staff at assigned installation </li><li>Developing coverage model for assigned installation </li><li>Schedule field staff training at assigned installation </li><li>Execute order review and inventory management activities at assigned installation </li><li>Participate in weekly leadership teleconferences/virtual meetings </li><li>Lead weekly Site Lead meetings with staff and other installation points of contact </li><li>Inform installation staff about new policies, procedures and operational guidance </li><li>Execute quality management activities at assigned installation </li><li>Execute risk and issue management activities at assigned installation </li><li>Deliver onsite activities and execute post-event data collection activities </li></ul> <p>Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Understand and apply adult learning theories </li><li>Understanding of VA benefits programs </li><li>Understanding of transitioning Service member populations </li><li>Experience using Microsoft Office suite of tools </li><li>Strong customer management and support skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Experience delivering briefings to live audiences </li><li>Knowledge of the military and experience working with military clients </li><li>Understanding of current veteran issues and challenges pre- and post- transition </li></ul> <p>Required Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or 5 - 7 years' equivalent work/military experience </li><li>Preferred emphasis in Training, Education, Career Counseling, or HR </li><li>Appropriate certifications </li></ul> <p>CALIBRE and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports transitioning service members, veterans and individuals with disabilities.
