Unlock your potential!</p> <p>Job Summary and Qualifications</p> <p>Nuclear Medical Technologist - PRN/Per Diem</p> <p>Our Nuclear Medicine teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently reviewing applications for a Florida-licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. Apply today!</p> <p>Your tasks and responsibilities as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans </li><li>Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians orders; Administer and record dosages as well </li><li>Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film </li><li>Position patients and adjust immobilization devices </li><li>Compassionately explain procedures to patients and addresses concerns </li><li>Monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation (MEDITECH) </li><li>Assist with transporting patients </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited and AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program </li><li>Clear/Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) </li><li>Valid CNMT through NMTCB </li><li>Current Basic Life Support certification </li><li>Recent experience as a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred </li><li>Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs </li></ul> <p>HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is a 350-bed facility offering a range of services.
