<p>Job Title Marketing and Promotions Internship - Spring 2026 Department Career Services Office Job Description/Duties</p> <p>The Marketing and Promotions Intern will help increase awareness of Career Services programs, events, and resources among the greater student body. This intern will play a vital role in connecting students to opportunities for career exploration, internships, networking, professional development, and more. By designing and executing engaging marketing campaigns, the intern will contribute to improving student knowledge of Career Services resources - helping even more students students have greater visibility and equitable access to the tools that help them to become career ready now and succeed in their careers post graduation as well.</p> <p>The student will learn/gain the following from the internship: hands-on experience in marketing, branding, and strategic communications; develop professional project management and collaboration skills within a campus office environment; build a portfolio of marketing materials and measurable outcomes from real campaigns and projects; opportunities to network with departments and student orgs to expand professional connections; and contribute to a more informed and career-ready student body by amplifying awareness of Career Services across campus.</p> <p>Days/Hours Needed</p> <p>Flexible during regular office hours (Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)</p> <p>Campus Location/Bldg.</p> <p>Career Services office: Van Hoesen Hall, Room B-5</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Must be a SUNY Cortland student.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>A student with strong relationship building skills, written and verbal communication skills, who is enthusiastic about helping peers utilize their resources to be successful.</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>Special Conditions for Eligibility Contact Name(s) & Email(s)</p> <p>Taylor Lynch, Associate Director of Career Services</p> <p>taylor.lynch@cortland.edu</p> <p>Salary Grade A-$15.50/hr.
