<p>Objective: Students will learn how to develop and foster critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, peer collaboration and teamwork. Job Duties: This club is for all 5th graders-boys and girls-who want to learn the fundamentals of football in a fun, safe, and non-contact environment.</p> <ul> <li>Skills We'll Cover: We will focus on the basics of the game, including passing, receiving, defensive positioning, pulling flags, and understanding common plays and formations. </li><li>Teamwork & Sportsmanship: This club emphasizes teamwork, communication, and good sportsmanship. Every student gets a chance to play and contribute to the team. </li><li>No Experience Necessary: All students are welcome whether you're a seasoned player or have never touched a football. Our goal is to build skills, boost confidence, and have a blast. Qualifications: ? A current employee of New Bedford Public Schools (Unit A) is preferred. ? Knowledge of Abraham Lincoln Elementary School ? Strong communication skills and desire to build positive relationships with students and families.
