<p>Responsible for maintaining the patient registration process for the organization. Obtains medical records, consent and insurance forms and other documentation from patients in a orderly manner. Registers the appropriate forms and scans into the medical record system as per department protocols.</p> <p>Principal Accountabilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Conducts interviews and collects information about the patients such as medical history, personal information and other requests or treatment preferences.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures proper data entry into the system.</p> </li><li> <p>Guides patients in the filling of entry forms and enrollment or admissions process and connects patients to the necessary resources/point of contacts.</p> </li><li> <p>Directs patients towards the appropriate personnel for the next steps towards the treatment.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares identification bracelets and collects insurance related information from the patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Issues receipts to patients, manages cash balances and uses audits and controls to manage cash accurately and safely.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other related duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol>
