<p>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency is required. </li><li>Currently enrolled in the pursuit of a degree toward a BS in Supply Chain / Logistics / Transportation Management. </li><li>Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. </li><li>This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook </li><li>Distribution, supply chain or transportation experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>This position will support warehousing, distribution and fleet operations through process control & improvement initiatives, assume responsibility for integrity for assigned products, establishes & maintains external & internal customer contacts, documents & prepares task specific work instructions & maintain knowledge of job cost & develop/implement appropriate plans to improve profitability.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Develop new and refine existing supply chain fulfillment criteria and work instructions. </li><li>Develop new and refine existing supply chain fleet delivery routes. </li><li>Support distribution of casting supplies, WIP and process related goods supporting supply chain efforts for Howmet Aerospace divisions. </li></ul> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Assist Distribution Warehouse / Fleet Operations in the completion of assigned projects. </li></ul>
