<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job Location: Hadco Corporate - Lehi, UT</p> <p>Salary Range: Undisclosed</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Schedule: Full-time, overtime available</p> <p>Day Shift Schedule: 6:30 AM-5:00 PM M-F</p> <p>Benefits available after 60 days!</p> <p>Hadco Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable Yellow-Iron Mechanic to join our Maintenance and Shop Division. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience working on heavy equipment such as loaders, dozers, backhoes, and excavators. You'll be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep our fleet running efficiently and safely.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on a variety of yellow-iron equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to reduce downtime and extend equipment life</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with shop leads and operators</p> </li><li> <p>Identify necessary parts and assist with ordering as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>3+ years of experience working with heavy construction equipment preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools</p> </li><li> <p>Welding/fabrication experience a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively</p> </li><li> <p>Must have a valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical Insurance - Company Contributes! </li><li>Dental Insurance </li><li>Vision Insurance </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>Disability Insurance </li><li>Supplemental Insurances </li><li>401(k) with company match after six months of employment </li><li>Holiday pay after six months of employment </li><li>Vacation pay after one year of employment </li></ul> <p>Get to know us:</p> <p>Hadco Construction was founded in 1989 with its origins in agriculture irrigation.
