<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>University Physicians' Association is seeking qualified applicants for a Patient Service Representative (PSR) for UNIVERSITY CANCER SPECIALISTS - BLOUNT, a family physicians' office located in Alcoa, TN. Team member will float between various offices within the Blount County Cancer Center building.</p> <p>Position offers flexible scheduling for a Monday through Friday work week.</p> <p>Job duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Greet patients in friendly and timely manner </li><li>Ensure that patients complete necessary forms required for the electronic health record and billing office </li><li>Maintain patient demographic and insurance information; verifies insurance eligibility and collects co-pays </li><li>Ensures good patient flow through practice by timely processing of patients as they arrive at front office </li><li>Answer patient inquiries regarding patient registration information or billing questions </li><li>Refers patient inquiries regarding medical care or treatment to medical assistant or physician </li><li>Schedules patients with appropriate physician </li><li>Document scanning into electronic health record </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Full benefit package available including PTO, Sick Leave, Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting, Critical Illness, Life Insurance, EAP, and more!</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>6-months to 1-year previous medical office experience </li><li>Strong communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and organization are critical to the overall success of the candidate. </li></ul>
