<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Massasoit Community College Nursing and Allied Health Department of Radiologic Technology seeks an Adjunct faculty member to deliver high-quality learning experiences and education for students in the Radiologic Technology. The selected candidate will have responsibilities teaching a laboratory course to undergraduates. Subject matters include in-depth knowledge and teaching of anatomy and positioning 1,2, and 3.</p> <p>Responsibilities and Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Deliver laboratory and/or experiential instruction via multiple formats (in-person, online, or in a 'blended' format) in the Radiographic Positioning and imaging </li><li>Coordinate multiple students in the lab simultaneously </li><li>Deliver Radiographic Positioning and imaging techniques that include normal and disease protocols </li><li>Provide students with an approved syllabus that includes course objectives and learning outcomes, teaching methodology, attendance policies in line with those of the school, texts and readings, assignments and deliverables, timelines and evaluation criteria </li><li>Provide engaging assignments that demonstrate the real-world applications of concepts covered </li><li>Support incorporation of diversity, equity and inclusion into the curriculum, as well as co-curricular experiences, to broaden the education of students and expand their knowledge of health disparities </li><li>Uses the College's learning management system to post syllabus, assignments and other materials and to communicate with students </li><li>Advises and assists students through office hours or scheduled appointments, by videoconference, phone, or email, and through other College-approved mechanisms </li><li>Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor </li><li>Focuses on the Commonwealth's Equity Agenda by applying related best practices throughout all job functions </li></ul> <p>THIS POOL IS VALID THROUGH JUNE 30, 2026. Positions may consist of day, night, or weekend positions and may be in Brockton, Canton, Middleborough, or any other instructional site.</p> <p>Please note: Positions will be available pending sufficient enrollment. Qualified applicants will be contacted by the academic department.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Associate in Science or Bachelor of Science in related health sciences </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the field of Radiologic Technology </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in a college/university, or teaching hospital environment </li><li>In-depth understanding of Radiographic Positioning and imaging, including applying the ARRT/ASRT/JRCERT Guidelines and Standards. </li><li>Commitment to the mission of community colleges and student success </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment </li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills </li><li>Must be able to work independently and effectively interact with a wide array of parties at all levels (students, faculty, administration/staff, and healthcare industry professionals) </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience teaching students in a community college setting </li><li>Graduate degree in health science, education, or related field </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Position Status: MCCC/MTA position</p> <p>Semester: Academic Year Fall 2025 and Spring 2026</p> <p>Salary: $1,397 per credit (step 1) based on enrollment. Consistent with the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement.</p> <ul> <li>If hired for the position mid-semester, the salary will be pro-rated based on the number of weeks left in the semester. </li></ul> <p>Worksite: Assignments will include all Massasoit sites and additional locations as necessary.</p> <p>Deadline to Apply: June 30, 2026</p> <p>Application Instructions:</p> <p>A cover letter and resume are required, please apply online.
