You will be a key collaborator with engineers, design teams, and business leaders, providing data-driven solutions to complex challenges across the entire packaging lifecycle.</p> <p>Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and innovative Summer Engineering Intern to join our Manufacturing Team. The intern will play a crucial role in designing, prototyping, and testing a tube straightening system that will integrate seamlessly into our high-speed assembly lines.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the manufacturing team to understand current assembly line processes and requirements. </li><li>Design and prototype a tube straightening system. </li><li>Conduct testing and validation of the concept to ensure functionality and efficiency. </li><li>If time permits, design and install the tube straightening system on a piece of equipment. </li><li>Document all stages of the project, including design iterations, testing results, and installation procedures. </li><li>Present findings and progress to the team regularly. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in an engineering program (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field). </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Experience with CAD software and prototyping tools. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li><li>Excellent communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with real-world engineering projects. </li><li>Opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team. </li><li>Gain valuable insights into manufacturing processes and systems. </li></ul>
