<p>Your Opportunity:</p> <p>We are looking for a highly motivated Engineering student to join our team as a Sustainability Engineering Co-op from January - August 2026.</p> <p>Greenheck Group is a dynamic, multi-branded international commercial HVAC manufacturer. Our efficient products improve comfort, safety, and health of lives across the planet.</p> <p>Since 1947, we are deeply committed to helping you "Build Your Future," through professional growth, challenging projects, and exciting opportunities to explore your career path.</p> <p>What you'll be doing:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Monitor environmental and sustainability related legislation, regulations and codes to analysis potential impact on products and business strategy.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in developing relationships with legislators, regulatory agencies, industry groups, and standards organizations.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the completion and submission of regulatory filings and compliance reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Help identify and evaluate new market opportunities related to regulatory changes</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct competitive market research and analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Perform administrative duties to support regulatory and business development initiatives</p> </li></ul> <p>In this highly visible role, you will work closely with the Director of Regulatory Business Development in identifying, prioritizing, and communicating sustainability opportunities presented with industry standards, codes, regulations, utility rebate programs, etc. to Greenheck business entities.</p> <p>Recent areas of work include:</p> <ul> <li>HVAC System Design requirements to mitigate risk of COVID-19 and assure safe Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and overall Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ). </li><li>Energy efficiency regulations and the effect on HVAC equipment design. </li><li>Climate Change and impact of HFC (Hydrofluorocarbon) phasedown requirements to reduce building carbon footprint. </li><li>Development of Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and educating the Greenheck Group </li><li>Hurricane and high-wind test standards and code requirements for rooftop equipment. </li><li>Fire and Smoke Life Safety Code requirements. </li><li>Seismic test standards and code requirements. </li></ul> <p>What you should have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Architecture, Construction Management or related field</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of sustainability principles and passion for environmental issues</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of HVAC industry regulations and standards a plus -</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with data analysis and life cycle assessment tools</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication abilities</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously</p> </li><li> <p>Highly organized and attentive to details</p> </li></ul> <p>This position can be remote or in-person at any of our Greenheck Group campus locations.</p> <p>Things You Should Know:</p> <p>Team members in our college programs:</p> <ul> <li>Network: You will interact and network with the intern & co-op group across the U.S. (about 50 total college students) </li><li>Meet Our Executives: You will present your projects and experiences to our company leaders and executives at the end of your term. </li><li>Get Exposure to Various Areas: You will participate in Fundamental Fridays gaining exposure to our business and business leaders. </li><li>Make a Difference: You will have the opportunity to take part in company sponsored volunteering. </li><li>Collaborate: You will be an important part of our team with opportunities to collaborate and partner within your team and across the company. </li></ul> <p>Why You'll Love It Here:</p> <p>Our culture is built on growth, innovation, continuous learning, making a difference in our community, and the tremendous talent of our team members. The starting base pay range for this position is $23/hour - $27/hour and may vary based type of position and school seniority.</p> <p>Visa Sponsorship Information:</p> <p>We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. Substantial motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Occasional mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks.
