This role is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our accounting processes while contributing to process improvements that help scale our business.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Execute month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and assisting with financial statement preparation </li><li>Prepare and manage monthly client billing </li><li>Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, and bank reconciliations </li><li>Assist with expense reimbursement processing, ensuring proper recording and reconciliation </li><li>Analyze financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness of monthly financial statements </li><li>Identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting and business processes to support company growth </li><li>Support ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, and special projects as needed </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues and provide financial guidance </li><li>Assist with compliance activities, including audits, tax support, and other regulatory requirements </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance </li><li>2+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 1 year in an operational accounting role within a high-growth environment </li><li>Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills </li><li>Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Experience in SaaS or technology industry strongly preferred </li></ul> <p>Why Join Coviance?</p> <p>At Coviance, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact in a growing fintech company while working alongside a supportive and driven team.
