<p>Division</p> <p>Steel Dynamics</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Responsible for electrical maintenance in various locations of the mill and ancillary equipment working a 4 on 4 off 12-hour rotating swing shift.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Leader in locking out equipment and assuring that all maintenance work is done safely. </li><li>Troubleshoot electrical equipment problems, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment. </li><li>Perform preventative maintenance and installation of new electrical equipment. </li><li>Assist millwrights and operators with daily maintenance work. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>At least 5 years working as an electrician or technician in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Knowledge of power distribution, AC/DC motors, motor control and motor drives </li><li>Experience with PLC's, drives and HMI software </li><li>Skilled at troubleshooting, problem solving and installation of electrical equipment </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Good working knowledge and understanding of Siemens PLC's and software </li><li>Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC's and Rockwell software </li><li>Low, medium and high voltage equipment experience </li><li>Metallurgical process understanding </li><li>Formal electrical, automation and/or IT training </li></ul> <p>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.</p>
