<p>Assistant Radiologist 1493743</p> <ul> <li>Hourly pay: $68/hr </li><li>Worksite: Leading university (Stanford, CA 94305 - Onsite) </li><li>W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL </li><li>40 hours/week, 3-6 Month Assignment </li></ul> <p>A leading university is seeking an Assistant Radiologist to support diagnostic imaging and research activities by assisting physicians with advanced imaging procedures, post-processing, and clinical research initiatives in a high-performance radiology environment.</p> <p>Assistant Radiologist Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist physicians with complex imaging procedures, including 3D reformations and post-processing, operate medical imaging systems to generate clinical images and data, and ensure images are optimized for diagnostic and research purposes. </li><li>Support and participate in the design, development, implementation, and execution of multiple research studies involving medical imaging systems, utilizing software, hardware, and computer systems to generate and analyze clinical data. </li><li>Perform patient-facing responsibilities, including transferring, positioning, and instructing patients on procedures, while also providing instruction and technical guidance to researchers, technologists, and physicians. </li><li>Develop, test, and improve imaging-related products and procedures, post-process volumetric image data on 3D workstations, produce and track quantitative measurements, and ensure high clinical value of imaging outputs. </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation for procedures, scheduling, and billing; assist with case preparation for publication; contribute to SOPs, quality assurance programs, and departmental safety policies while ensuring compliance with imaging standards and safety protocols. </li></ul> <p>Assistant Radiologist Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of relevant experience in medical imaging or radiology support. </li><li>Two-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Certification in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT-N) and a California Nuclear Medicine Technologist License. </li><li>Must hold one of the following: ARRT, California Radiologic Technologist certification, or ARMRIT certification. </li><li>Experience as a PET/MR Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or MR/CT Technologist with active California licensure. </li><li>Advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, sterile technique, patient care, and imaging safety procedures. </li><li>Advanced experience operating medical imaging systems, including 3D reformations and post-processing techniques. </li><li>Strong knowledge of imaging physics, tissue contrast, and clinical imaging applications. </li><li>Experience with Unix, Windows, Mac, and/or Linux systems; ability to troubleshoot MR systems and computer issues. </li><li>Ability to identify imaging artifacts and respond to detailed imaging requests for specific anatomy/pathology. </li><li>Experience teaching and instructing technologists, researchers, and physicians. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. </li><li>Ability to work in environments with exposure to imaging systems (X-ray, CT, PET, MRI), high magnetic fields, and noise. </li><li>Physical ability to handle patient movement and equipment as required. </li></ul> <p>Shift:</p> <ul> <li>8:00 am to 5:00 pm. </li></ul>
