Be the difference.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Performs a variety of clinical procedures as defined in the Respiratory Care Services scope of practice; works in accordance with direct physician orders and/or standard practice protocols under direct physician supervision; performs defined duties.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Be the difference.</p> </li><li> <p>Gathers information for patient visit with physician, including laboratory results, radiology tests, pulmonary tests and details of patient's condition.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists physician with office procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Reviews existing data in patient medical record including Current Respiratory Care orders, medication list, radiology testing and other diagnostic testing.</p> </li><li> <p>Patient history; Physical examination; Pulmonary function values; Laboratory data</p> </li><li> <p>Returns patient phone calls; make appointments for ancillary services; assist with patient referrals, phone in prescriptions.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts respiratory care procedures as appropriate.</p> </li><li> <p>Fill out CMNs.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Supervisory/Management Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>This is a non-management job that report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education - Post high school education up to 18 months in a Respiratory Therapy program</p> </li><li> <p>Experience - One (1) year in Respiratory Therapy</p> </li></ul> <p>In Lieu Of</p> <ul> <li>NA </li></ul> <p>Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses</p> <ul> <li> <p>Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) from state in which work is performed.</p> </li><li> <p>Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) National Board of Respiratory Care</p> </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Basic computer skills</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of office equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Data entry skills</p> </li><li> <p>Mathematical skills</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of clinical office equipment (vitals, suction, defib)</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Shift</p> <p>Day (United States of America)</p> <p>Location</p> <p>Pulmonary Center - Seneca</p> <p>Facility</p> <p>2475 Pulmonology-Seneca</p> <p>Department</p> <p>24751000 Pulmonology-Seneca-Practice Operations</p> <p>Share your talent with us!
