This role is also tasked with prospecting and closing remaining targeted accounts to further solidify our presence in the market. In addition to managing high-level accounts, the sales manager will work closely with the Account Growth Specialist to ensure alignment on overall state strategy and growth objectives.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary contact for the top high-revenue-generating accounts, developing deep relationships with senior decision-makers to align strategic priorities. </li><li>Lead quarterly account reviews and long-term account planning with key partners to ensure sustained growth and mutual success. </li><li>Develop and implement account-wide strategies to maximize revenue, expand product offerings, and secure strategic partnerships. </li><li>Identify, prospect, and close remaining target accounts that align with our market goals. </li><li>Lead negotiations and close deals to being new accounts into the portfolio. </li><li>Work with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account activation. </li><li>Oversee the performance and development of the Account Growth Specialist, ensuring their strategies align with the overall company strategy. </li><li>Provide guidance on pricing strategies, promotional planning and product expansion within key accounts. </li><li>Collaborate closely with manufacturing, marketing, accounting, and operations teams. </li><li>Partner with EVP Commercial Operations to align state-level strategy with broader organization goals. </li><li>Track sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity across the top accounts and broader market. </li><li>Provide regular updates to leadership on account progress, new business development and revenue growth forecasts. </li><li>Maintain up-to-date CRM data. </li></ul> <p>Please note that the percentage allocations are a general estimate and may vary based on business needs and priorities.</p>
