<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Department of Chemistry & Physics is seeking qualified applicants to teach Environmental Chemistry laboratory sections.</p> <p>Our environmental chemistry course focuses on the aquatic chemistry of both natural and anthropogenic species release, transport and transformation. This course is taught from the "Environmental Chemistry" text by Stanley E. Manahan, with our own laboratory manual. The laboratory course emphasizes the determination of nutrients and toxins by wet chemical techniques contrasted with their analysis from spectroscopic instrumentation.</p> <p>Questions regarding the position should be directed to: Dr. Lauren Rossi, Chair of the Department of Chemistry & Physics. Applicants with ABD status towards completion of their Ph.D. in Chemistry or Geochemistry are also welcome to apply.
