As a TIG Welder you will be part of our growing Pittsburgh manufacturing team, our career track allows your performance to allow you to earn career progress incentives!</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Sunday - Wednesday (3pm - 1:30am)</p> <p>Wednesday - Saturday (3pm - 1:30am)</p> <p>Sunday - Thursday (11pm - 7:30am)</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>The primary responsibility of TIG Welder is TIG the welding of aluminum and steel parts in a variety of standard and custom jobs. Each job must be run with safety, accuracy, and timeliness in the welding area.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Create quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols) </li><li>Inspect welds for accuracy </li><li>Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum parts </li><li>Change wire/welding and gas tanks as needed </li><li>Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner, and that all safety devices are in use </li><li>Perform first article inspections as well as subsequent inspections </li><li>Record proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance system </li><li>Willingness to be flexible within all areas of production within facility. </li><li>Other job-related duties may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position </li></ul> <p>Skills & Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>At least 1 year of experience or training in TIG Welding </li><li>Must pass the TIG welding test </li><li>Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings & job orders </li><li>Ability to operate measuring devices such as calipers and tape measurers </li><li>Basic computer navigation and data entry skills </li><li>Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds </li><li>Ability to work overtime when needed </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401(k) </li><li>401(k) matching </li><li>Dental insurance </li><li>Employee assistance program </li><li>Health insurance </li><li>Health savings account </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Referral program </li><li>Retirement plan </li><li>Vision insurance </li></ul> <p>Ability to commute/relocate:</p> <ul> <li>Glenshaw, PA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) </li><li>Forms+Surfaces is an equal opportunity employer* </li></ul>
