That's why we are always looking for curious minds that see themselves imagining the unimaginable with us.</p> <p>Your Role</p> <p>As an Operational Readiness Project Manager within the Internal Project Management team you are a critical business partner for the MilliporeSigma Life Science Business and will support the preparation and execution of strategic projects as the subject matter expert for Operational Readiness. The projects in scope are usually large ($10M - $100M) and/or of a complex nature. You will support the technical project manager in developing the technical project scope, reviewing and challenging various facets of the project starting with the implementation through the project turn over to the site. You will be directly responsible for setting up the operational teams at the site to assure successful start up of the equipment and utilities associated with the capital project delivery. Additionally, you will contribute to the execution of the Life Science strategy and strive for technological advancement by evaluating effective, sustainable and state-of-the-art solutions in line with applicable safety and quality requirements, while leveraging the internal technology network across the whole organization including but not limited to the validation services, operations, engineering and site facilities/maintenance groups to successfully bring capital projects on line.</p> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a Scientific discipline </li><li>5+ years of relevant industry experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. </li><li>You demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a good working knowledge of quality regulations, GMP guidelines associated with Pharmaceutical manufacturing </li><li>Experience managing continuous improvement pipeline with a site management team including the selection and governance of projects and project portfolio </li><li>You are inclusive and can identify required resources, internal or external experts and stakeholders. </li><li>You have significant skills and experience in supporting larger technical investment projects ($10M-$100M) in the area of operations from project initiation to completion, preferably in a GMP environment. </li><li>Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. </li><li>Self-starter capable of developing/managing strong technical teams through all facets of the business </li><li>Work with equipment vendors and internal resources to provide innovative solutions and schedules to meet changing business needs. </li><li>Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., SmartSheet, MS Project). </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on results-oriented outcomes. </li></ul> <p>What we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
