Solaris HealthCare Charlotte Harbor is a 180-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Port Charlotte Florida.</p> <p>We are located at 4000 Kings Hwy, Port Charlotte, FL 33980</p> <p>WHY WORK FOR US?</p> <p>Health, Dental, and Vision</p> <p>Paid Time Off</p> <p>Holiday PayRetirement</p> <p>Great Work Enviroment</p> <p>401kDirect Deposit</p> <p>Solaris HealthCare is hiring an Admissions Clerk to join our team!</p> <p>Admissions Clerk duties</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate admissions appointments and tours for prospective residents/patients/students and their families. </li><li>Process admissions applications and inquiries promptly and accurately. </li><li>Collect, verify, and maintain accurate documentation related to admissions, including medical records, insurance information, and financial documents. </li><li>Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including medical staff, administrative personnel, and other departments, to ensure seamless admissions procedures. </li><li>Provide help and support to residents/patients/students and their families throughout the admissions process, addressing questions, concerns, and needs in a professional and compassionate manner. </li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and confidentiality standards in all admissions-related activities. </li><li>Assist with discharge planning and arrangements for residents/patients/students leaving the facility/institution, as needed. </li><li>Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to the role. </li></ul> <p>Admissions Clerk qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in healthcare administration, customer service, or related field preferred. </li><li>Previous experience in admissions, customer service, or healthcare administration preferred. </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach. </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently. </li><li>Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records systems. </li><li>Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in all interactions. </li></ul>
