<p>We are seeking a Safety Leader to join our team. This role promotes a culture of safety on construction sites and in our fabrication shops. The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and oversee health and safety programs to prevent accidents and injuries, ensuring a safe working environment.</p> <p>WHO WE ARE</p> <p>Kinsley Steel has been delivering unmatched quality steel on time and on budget. If you are driven, solution-focused, results-oriented, and a true team player, we want to talk to you.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs in compliance with OSHA, local, state, and federal regulations </li><li>Conduct regular site inspections in the field and shops and conduct audits to identify potential hazards and ensure safety compliance </li><li>Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions </li><li>Provide safety training and education to employees, contractors, and site personnel </li><li>Enforce safety standards and regulations, issuing recommendations or corrective actions </li><li>Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate safety into all phases of construction projects </li><li>Maintain accurate safety records, including compliance documentation, incident reports, and training logs </li><li>Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and ensure proper reporting of safety concerns </li><li>Conduct risk assessments and prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) </li><li>Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and provide ongoing safety guidance to teams </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience </li><li>Ability to travel to construction sites within the region up to 75% of the time </li><li>Relevant professional certifications preferred, such as ASP, CSP, or CHST, or ability to obtain certification within the first 12 months of employment </li><li>Construction safety and industry experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.</p> <p>Kinsley Steel, Inc. is a Drug Free Workplace where post-offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Kinsley Steel, Inc. is a participant in the Federal E-Verify Program.</p>
