Lifeguards will play an essential role in maintaining the safety and security of all patrons utilizing our aquatic facilities, particularly supporting summer camp activities and special events.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure the safety of all participants, with particular emphasis on summer camp groups and activities. </li><li>Monitor pool and surrounding areas vigilantly to prevent accidents and ensure patron safety. </li><li>Enforce all aquatic facility rules and regulations. </li><li>Quickly and effectively respond to emergencies, providing first aid, CPR, and other lifesaving techniques as necessary. </li><li>Conduct regular safety inspections and assist with daily pool maintenance and cleaning. </li><li>Complete required incident and accident reports in a timely and accurate manner. </li><li>Provide exceptional customer service and engage positively with participants, parents, and guardians. </li><li>Participate in mandatory training and in-service sessions to maintain certifications and enhance skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be currently certified as a Lifeguard, including CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications. </li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs. </li><li>Must be available for flexible scheduling, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. </li><li>Previous lifeguarding experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. </li></ul> <p>Special Instructions to Applicant</p> <p>Please upload your resume, a copy of your class schedule,and copy of your certifications online.</p> <p>https://crw.ecu.edu/about-us/join-the-crw-team/job-descriptions/</p> <p>Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
