Attend project initiation meetings and work with other senior managers to manage the engagement, including understanding business problems or requirements and align on timelines for project delivery. Develop a solution structure and hypothesis tests to validate assumptions. Develop and review project plan for task execution and manage solution delivery expectations. Train and mentor post-pay team to perform the business. Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Serve as subject matter expert for check refund request. Develop hypotheses and validate them based on analysis of data. Perform external research and communications with management teams and present findings to senior management. Manage project tasks and communications including: deck writing; coordination of all sub-team efforts; delivery of output; facilitation and gathering of client feedback on problem structuring; and effective management of frequency of feedback loop with offshore resources. Analyze the client's data and processes recommend management solutions to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively. Identify the right data sources required to inform relevant insights, metrics and understand key business trends. Import raw data from client data warehouses and databases into statistical analysis software and turn data into usable information by translating or explaining what it means and how it can be used. This involves studying data dictionaries/creating data dictionaries, establish reliability and relevance of data. Process data by coding, compilation, calculation, tabulation, and verification and make recommendations to management through presentations or reports. Compile findings into actionable strategic recommendations for the client. Manage delivery of output with adequate quality control by reviewing analysts' work output before review with senior managers. Utilize analytics methodologies and analysis tools, such as SAS, SPSS, R, SQL, Hive, Hadoop, and Python CART, including Excel and PowerPoint, to perform data extraction, data understanding, variable reduction, Big Data processing, data analysis, and model development.</p> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <p>Requires a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience as a Management Analyst or a related occupation. Must have 5 years of professional experience with Data Analytics. Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: (1) Importing raw data from client data warehouses and databases using SQL, SAS and MS office for statistical analysis; (2) processing data by coding, compilation, calculation, tabulation, and verification for client and management presentations using SQL, SAS and MS office; (3) programming, writing queries, codes, setup functions, and process data using SAS, R, and Hadoop; (4) Hive, Teradata, and Hadoop to analyze client data and determine client overpayment amounts; and (5) managing data importation projects.</p> <p>40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $137,000 to $142,000 per year.</p> <p>To apply: Send resume & cover letter to [email protected].
