Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The Director of Ambulatory Operations provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for designated Hospital Outpatient Departments (HODs), ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with organizational goals. This role is responsible for driving performance through responsiveness to market conditions, quality and safety metrics, regulatory and accreditation standards, service excellence, and financial sustainability. The Director manages capital, financial, and human resources effectively, while developing and executing strategic plans, budgets, and policies. Collaboration with OSF Medical Group leadership and other department directors is essential to ensure care delivery meets regulatory requirements and Magnet standards.</p> <p>This position will be over the following:</p> <ul> <li>Wound </li><li>Podiatry </li><li>Urogyn </li><li>Women's Center </li><li>Rejuvenation Center </li><li>Neuro Sciences </li><li>PSA </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors </li></ul> <p>Specific majors if applicable: Business administration, health care administration, nursing or related field.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>3 years leadership experience in a health care setting with emphasis on strategic and operational initiatives. </li><li>Experience working with physicians and multiple different teams. </li></ul> <p>Other skills/knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Masters degree in business administration, health care administration, nursing or related field. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>5 years of management experience in a hospital outpatient department </li><li>5 years of leadership experience in an ambulatory setting with focus on hospital outpatient departments. </li></ul> <p>OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
