We're proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and peace of mind</p> <p>A 20 per hour work week to ensure work/life balance</p> <p>Employer-paid short- and long-term disability insurance</p> <p>Up to 2 weeks of vacation in your first year (based on hours worked)</p> <p>Up to 2 weeks of sick leave (based on hours worked)</p> <p>12 paid agency recognized holidays</p> <p>2 floating holidays to use your way</p> <p>Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family</p> <p>HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Plan, implement, and maintain a therapeutic classroom curriculum for children ages 0-5, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive for children with disabilities.</p> <p>Perform classroom setup and cleanup, including sanitizing surfaces and toys, laundering blankets and towels, and following all health and safety protocols.</p> <p>Interact with children respectfully while modeling positive communication and promoting individual and group problem-solving skills.</p> <p>Apply principles of diversity, equity, racial justice, and cultural sensitivity in all interactions with children and families.</p> <p>Conduct at least monthly home visits focused on child development, parent-child interaction, positive discipline, and family support; provide resources, referrals, and advocacy as needed.</p> <p>Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all children and families, including developmental assessments, attendance, home visit records, goals, and required forms.</p> <p>Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, providing progress updates, guidance on discipline, reinforcing parent education topics, and modeling appropriate interactions.</p> <p>Represent AFGP in community collaborations, attend meetings, report suspected abuse or neglect per policy, and participate in team meetings, training, and agency events.</p> <p>The position allocates approximately 65% of time to direct service, 30% to documentation, and 5% to other duties. Two individuals manage classrooms; they are responsible for all aspects of the classroom.</p> <p>HOW YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT:</p> <p>One year of related experience working with families with multiple risk factors and knowledge of the community</p> <p>Associate's / Bachelor's / master's in early childhood or related field</p> <p>ORO Step 9 or bachelor's degree in early childhood or education. Credentials may be required depending on individual program or location requirements.</p> <p>Fluency in English, both spoken and written</p> <p>Basic mastery of business applications and productivity suites</p> <p>Demonstrates resilience, awareness, and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict, and obstacles/barriers.</p> <p>Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment; works with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end-user experiences throughout the service lifecycle</p> <p>Demonstrates exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations</p> <p>Successfully completes tasks in a moderately noisy environment</p> <p>Interacts with others and performs tasks in-person and using technology, with moderate periods of stationary activity and moderate periods of increased physical activity, including and not limited to playing in the classroom and working on food boxes.</p> <p>Moves equipment/materials weighing up to 40 pounds; may be responsible for moving/carrying children weighing up to 40 pounds in emergency situations</p> <p>Travels between worksites regularly; responsible for transporting clients in personal vehicle, which requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and motor vehicle records clearance</p> <p>Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, client home/community settings, outdoor settings in varying weather conditions, and faith-based settings such as churches</p> <p>Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program, must be enrolled in the Central Background Registry (CBR), Oregon Dept of Early Learning and Care Registry</p> <p><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>__</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong> Thank you!
